Our Dogs

I have been involved in the sport of pure bred dogs for over 30 years. Initially, with Standard Schnauzers and then, with Miniature Pinschers under the Minsmere kennel name. Currently, I am involved with three breeds, Affenpinschers, Dachshunds, and Whippets.

At Minsmere we strive to consistently produce healthy and happy dogs who will be a welcome addition to any home and who will contribute positively to their breeds. I am an AKC Breeder of Merit and follow the AKC and my individual breed Parent Club's recommendations on health screening, breeding, and responsible dog ownership. Our dogs do not live in a kennel. They are raised in and share our home as members of the family, taking time out to go to AKC conformation shows and Field Trials, Earthdog Tests, and Lure Coursing Trials. Each dog is an individual and recieves one on one attention on a daily basis so that they can develop their potential to the fullest.
