Available Dachshunds I breed on a very limited basis and will, from time to time, have puppies available for serious show homes or as companions. I will also, on occasion, have retired show dogs that I wish to place in loving forever homes where they will be cherished as the treasures that they are. Below are some Minsmere Pups who have gone to their new homes. Minsmere Meistersinger Mw (Walter)
Walter at 10 months already has both his majors and a Best of Variety win! We are hopeful that he and his brother Henry (Minsmere Mood Indigo MW) will follow in the paw prints of the first Lulu-Rooster litter and will show off their conformation and lovely personality. Walter is now with his co-owner Elena Bustillo and we look forward to continued success for this youngster.
Walter just recently took Best of Variety over a special during the Orlando weekend of shows and now only needs 2 points to finish his AKC championship!
Minsmere Mood Indigo MW (Henry) is shown here taking Best of Variety from the 6-9 month puppy class over much more mature exhibits for his first point. Henry is a delightful fellow with an amazing personality and fabulous breed type.
FLASH, HENRY WINS HIS FIRST MAJOR AT THE TANANA VALLEY KENNEL CLUB SHOW ON MAY 31, 2010!
Below is a picture of Minsmere Maestro MW (Norton) who won his first point at the March Florida East Coast Dachshund specialty show under breeder-judge Guy Jeavons. Norton, who has just gotten back in the ring this fall, has already picked up several more points on his quest toward his AKC title.
Norton just took 2 Best of Variety wins during the recent Orlando cluster of shows (his brother Walter won the other day) to add some more points to his total! Also, I'd like to share that, at the May 23rd New Castle Kennel Club show, Norton's littermate sister Madonna, finished her championship in grand style by going winners bitch, best of winners and best of variety (over the number one wire dachshund)! The following week, the brand new Ch. Tarlyn's Material Girl MW took another best of variety win and went on to a hound group 4.
Norton and Madonna's littermate sister, Mindy (Ch.Tarlyn's Mind over Matter MW) has also now finished her AKC championship. This trio of wire pups were a real treat to watch as they grew into the lovely dogs they are today. They were from the first litter out of Ch. Tarlyn's Lullaby at Minsmere MW (Lulu) bred to MBISS Ch. Schoenheit's What a Deal MW (Rooster).
