While I am aware that showing dogs is not a
day at the beach, I am proud to
have started out in dachshunds with these
two.

And now, homebred dachshunds...
Ch. Minsmere First Edition MW (Cody)
Sire: Ch. Dastropen Bugkaroo MW
Dam: Ch.
Add-Sim's Star Ruby

Cody
(shown here at eleven months) has his sire's sweet disposition, lovely coat, and conformation as well as his
dam's spunk and drive.

Cody loves to move out and strut his stuff in the show
ring.
Minsmere Morningstar MW (Stella)

Stella is Cody's full sister from a repeat breeding. We are
enjoying the challenge of starting our spunky Stella out at the shows this fall. She
and her sister, who now lives with my daughter up in Alaska, have some pretty
big pawprints to follow but we look forward to new adventures with them.

Despite her rambunctious behavior,
Stella wins her first major during a visit to family in Alaska.

Stella is shown above going winners bitch at the recent
Lakeland-Winterhaven Kennel Club show.
Minsmere Meistersinger MW (Walter)

Walter is shown at his first show,
just 3 days over the age of six months, winning a major.

We are very proud of Walter and look
forward to taking littermate, Henry (Minsmere Mood Indigo MW), out to more shows
in the near future.
Minsmere Mood Indigo MW (Henry)

Henry, who is co-owned with Margaret
Halpern, is shown winning the variety for his first point at the Boca Raton Dog
Club Show. The judge was very complimentary about him, saying that he had
a lovely coat, exuded breed type, and had the correct attitude for the breed. We
are very proud of Henry. Look for him and his brother, Walter, at future shows.

Even though Henry almost launched himself off the box
trying to get at the squeaky toy that was thrown, we managed to get a
picture recording his first major. We are hopeful that his youthful
exhuberance will settle down a bit as he works toward his second major.
And now, Our Newest
Little Stars...

Minsmere Musical Interlude MW (Lucy)
Sire: Ch EzGoin Schoenheit I've Got a
Crush on You x Dam: Ch. Tarlyn's Lullaby at Minsmere MW
and...

Buenavista Minsmere Sugar Magnolia (Magi)
Sire: Ch.Schoenheit's What a
Deal x Dam: Ch Buenavista's First Star MW
Lucy and Magi are just three months old and
still at the wiggly stage where good pictures are just wishful thinking but,
we wanted to 'introduce' our newest girls. I'm sure that before too long
they will be proper young ladies showing off their style for all to see in the show
ring. Look for them at the shows in the fall.
