I would like to acknowledge Susan W. Mong, Otto’s breeder and a dear friend since we first started showing and she was breeding Standard Schnauzers under the Dastropen kennel name. I will follow her example and will try to better the breed with my efforts. I would also like to thank Cliff Simones and Robbie Addison for letting Ruby be part of our lives, Tara and Sandra Krieger for breeding such a delightful girl in Lulu, and last but certainly not least, I would like to especially thank Emma Jean Stephenson for letting the spirited Genie come to live with us. * Flash* cody takes the variety over two multiple group placing specials for 2 points at the Hernando Kennel Club show November 8, 2008. Then, the following day, he goes best of Opposite sex over a multiple group placing male special for another point. We are very proud of this youngster!

Cody (shown here at eleven months) has his sire's sweet disposition, lovely coat, and conformation as well as his dam's spunk and drive. We thank the judges that have rewarded this promising youngster and look forward to having lots of fun with our first bred-by entry in the dachshund ring as we work toward finishing his AKC championship and beyond.
